White Winter in New York
I had the pleasure of having my family visit me in New York for the holiday season this year. It was a joy to show them all of the amazing design and holiday décor that New York has to offer. Manhattan is the home of the gorgeous skyscraper skyline of New York City. During our visit, most of the tourist attractions that we visited were Times Square, the Rockefeller Center, and Radio City Music Hall.
Christmas in New York is beyond magical. The storefront windows have brilliantly festive designs, the streets are lined with twinkling lights, and there is a smile on every face that you pass. The scenic photo above is a great view of the decorations at the Rockefeller Center’s ice skating rink. It was such a treat watching my grandchildren, Jack and Scarlett, get on the ice – they had a ball!
I’ve mentioned how much I love New York interior design, and these window displays are a true example of the talent in this city.
Below, Jack caught me in a funny moment with his quick clicking of the camera! A good design eye starts early!
I could never get enough of my beautiful grandchildren, spectacular New York design, or the sights of Manhattan. I hope that you have had as warm a holiday season as I have. From my heart to yours, I wish you a joyous and happy holiday. Merry Christmas!
