When planning the accent pieces in a dining room, choose things which make every meal feel more grand. Even though it is a Tuesday evening, does not mean the meal you are about to enjoy is less special.

You may be gathering with friends and family, enjoying a meal alone after a long day of work or simply having a breakfast muffin. To enhance the dining experience consider adding crystal to your dining room design.

The most common way to add crystal is in the chandelier. A modern chandelier may pair a plethora of crystal beads with a linen shade in a familiar drum shape. Ornate antique chandeliers look amazing in a larger dining room.

For special events, candlesticks add a crystal element. Pair candlesticks with glassware which has the same shapes cut into the glass or a similar band of gold or silver leafing.

For every day, a crystal bowl in the center of the dining table will catch the light as it changes during the day. These can also have colors insets or bases which add style.
